Welcome back to the dance floor.
Hopefully everyone is enjoying the great summer we are having. Now that it’s Summer, this newsletter will
be short – much to enjoy outside!
Membership renewals are included
with this newsletter. Those of you who
receive the newsletter via email just need to print off the form and return to
Joanie as instructed on the form.
Renewals should be mailed by September 1. Please print your information
clearly on the membership form. This
will really help with the updating of email addresses and your other contact
information.
We will not be issuing membership
cards next year. Rather members will be
included on the list maintained for the Shrine dance admittance staff. Just give your name when you enter. This
will save the club money on postage and printing.
Again, new membership dues for
the 2010- 2011 dance year are $150 per couple or $75 per single – still one of
the best entertainment bargains in the Sioux Empire. Thanks for your continued membership – it helps ensure we’ll all
be on the dance floor next year.
It’s never too early to be
thinking about new dance bands for the coming year. If you have a band that you
think would be appropriate for our dances, please give the information to Larry
with the Shrine as he books the bands. He will need the band’s name as well as
a contact name and telephone number.

Many dancers have asked if you
have to be a member of the Moose Lodge to dance at the Moose. No you do not. Everyone is welcome to
come dance at the Moose Lodge. The dances are on Saturday nights from 8:00
PM to 12:00 AM. The cost is $5.00 for members and $7.00 for
non-members. For some bands it is $2.00 higher. The Sunday Polka
dances are $10.00 for everyone and the Moose tries to have one every
month.
Always check the Thursday Argus Leader LINK and look
under NIGHTLIFE for the Saturday dances. If anyone has future
